New Year Resolution

I resolve to post in my blog at least once a week in 2011.

See how easy it is to make a New Year’s resolution, but how long will you or I stick with the resolution?  In fact, just making a resolution adds stress to life.

Think of the potential for a short story where a character makes a New Year resolution and then tries to keep it.  Whether the character succeeds or fails, there is plenty of stress to fuel the plot.  The character has a lot to gain or lose in self esteem alone.

Part 2 of Life on the Left Side of the Fast Lane will be posted tomorrow.  I hope you enjoy it.

If you don’t want to miss even a single installment, subscribe to this blog.  If you subscribe, you will automatically get an e-mail each time I make a post.
